Dad: We're having a much-needed short holiday, visiting family in the south-west of England.
As usual, Pooch did not like seeing the suitcases appear this morning. But he is delighted to have lots
of new walkies to explore, and lots of smells to investigate. There aren't many squ*rrels round here
but he doesn't know that. ;-)

He's also been getting quite a lot of attention from other holidaymakers. A lovely lady stopped us
in the street earlier today and told us what a 'beautiful face' Pooch has and how 'proud' of him we
must be. I suppose we are proud of him - not because he has a beautiful face, but because he is our
funny, loyal, beloved companion.
