14th November 2010

A wonderful walky in the Yorkshire Dales today, with lots of squ*rrels and pheasants. We even walked
through a farm-yard and I saw a chicken coming towards me with an inquiring "cluck-cluck" noise... she soon ran away again!
Here's a photo of me having a sniff-about at the entrance to Trow Gill ravine. What a great day it has been, friends!

Dad: Trow Gill is thought to have been carved out during the ice age. Apparently the body of a suspected Nazi spy was found here in
1947. The gill is rather a spooky place with a hollow echo inside!
