2004-12-10: Waiting in the Rain

Cambridge, Massachusetts

I Ching waiting on the deck rail for his second breakfast course.

I should have taken this shot two days ago when we had some light.
Today it was gray and rainy, but 'Ching likes to go out in the rain
so that when he comes in he'll get toweled off by his servants.

Chings looks like he could be a littermate to my cat Mouth. Same shape, same look in the eyes, similar coloring. Mouth eats continuously . . . haha. Cindy

What a great name for a cat. The best I could come up with in the cat naming department was "impulse." Wonderful shot. I think waiting for rain is a perfect concept.

I like both of your shots; great contrast between the cat and the background and a cat stretching is just such a beautifully fluid thing. I am intensely surprised that you've got a cat that LIKES going out in the rain.
