A Tad "Chilly" There

Yup you're seeing that correct.
It's Mt Washington, NH and they get some of the strongest winds in the USA.
It's on my "bucket list" of places to visit and shoot some images.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Oh and while driving down the road yesterday, a group of at least 15 Wild Turkey's ran across the road and into a corn field. Didn't have my camera handy but my thought was "Run for your lives!".

I went up Mt Washington twice 20 years ago. One of those times the wind at the summit was so strong that I literally couldn't walk into it. I think that day was also the only day in my life that a gust of wind has ever knocked me off my feet. It was also very cold, not much above freezing, and it was only August! Meanwhile back at the base it was a beautiful calm summer day. I'd like to go again someday with a modern camera. There are so many great places to go in NH!

Oh, you should have your camera in your lap at all times, girl! That would have made a great pic! See it is a tad cold there..cold front came through here early this morning and hasn't gotten above 36 degrees all day. But, a great time with family! Happy Thanksgiving, Patti!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
