These were the most interesting creatures I could see in the potholes, but I was disappointed
they weren't the clam shrimp or the tadpole shrimp that are so special in these pools.
The snail with a black rectangle around it was actually in another photo, but I added it here
because it seems we can see more detail in the snail's foot which might be useful for anyone
who has a special interest in snails...
