和平紀念碑

Modeled after the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London, this Cenotaph in Statue Square was erected in 1923 as a memorial to the war dead during WWI.
After the brutal Japanese occupation, it also commemorates the dead during WWII.
Behind it is the dome of the Legislative Council building.
