Completed in 1988, this bridge with a span of 1090m is the second bridge that connects Europe to Asia across the Bosporus Strait.
In the foreground, on the European waterfront is the Rumelian Castle (Rumelihisarı) which was built in 1451 before he conquered Constantinople.
