Fleeting Sunset

British Columbia

Both of us seriously lacking inspiration lately,
a friend and I went down to the lake hoping for
a reasonable sunset. We were rewarded, brief as
it was.

We are awaiting the Spring runoff to bring the lake
level back up.

Superb sunset light and colors, Peter, and I like the way you ingeniously used the ND filter on the water. A carefully crafted and beautiful composition.

The contrast between the warm sunlit top and the black valley is most enjoyable...the last and softest moment of the day.

Such a light was worth going there, and this remarkable image honours it so well, Peter ! BV.
