Feisty

Tucson, AZ

Here is a picture of "Feisty", a Desert Spiny lizard (Sceloporus magister) that we have habituated, after emerging from his winter hibernation. He's not real colorful now but that should change as the weather warms and the mating season begins. He did not have any problem coming up to eat mealworms from my hand --- so the "training" from last year seems to have set.

Wonderful shot Sam, we are starting to see these also, amazing how they can be habituated, way to go.

Wow, how cool! Its wild but you've trained it to eat from your hand? How cool! V
