Another day of parades in Hong Kong. Actually I think maybe there was a parade in the morning and a march in the afternoon - I'm not quite sure of the terminology, since I haven't been reading newspapers recently.

Hong Kong is not a country, so it doesn't get its own National Day. Instead (surely as the result of a committee decision) we have Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day.

Yet another shot that makes me want a wide angle lense. btw that lion really looks like an impaled trophy being marched down the street as the pride of the hunters. I bet that stick hurt. So did you make any Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day resolutions?
