Sunrise.jpg

Sunrise over the Atlantic!! About as far East as
you can get! Just a little past six AM and the
sun was bright above those grey clouds!!!!
Instead of golden rays reflecting on the water,
I captured some beautiful tones of blue/grey.
About 9:30 AM the sun finally broke through
in a haze. I guess I could've slept in,
but early morning on the beach is wonderful
whether or not the sun is shining. There was a
gentle lapping of the water, Sandpipers running
up and down the beach, Seagulls calling, and
a gentle breeze....oh, did I mention it was
almost 70 degrees?

Every sunrise/set is different. This a different sunrise and a beautiful image.

I like seeing the line of the shore circling off into the distance. I also like the night deposit, of seaweed, left in the dark by the last high tide.
That blue-grey sky should feel like a cozy blanket as it keeps the warm air from escaping into the upper regions of the atmosphere.
Yeah, I like this scene alot.

Blimey, it doesn't look that warm! Who said sunrises had to be yellow anyway, great shot!
