I spotted one bright red male Cardinal,
and three of these beautiful females in our
Kiwi bush! It was about 12 degrees out and
she was compensating by fluffing her feathers to
insulate her from the icy cold air!!!

Thanks for sharing this Bill. I hadn't seen it. She looks really cold. I have a hard time capturing female cardinals. The shots always look good on my LCD but after they're uploaded they don't look so great. I've never captured one this close or this good.
