C21 - 1st - A beautiful way to go - brent

Sometimes the beginning looks like the end. Though the sun was up for a 1/2 hour it was still behind clouds and could barely (photographically) compete with the lights on the side of the path.

Brent, Really nice shot - I like the different patches of light and you've hidden the lamsp to good effect. Nice colours and composition. excellent

This is a beautiful shot Brent. Color, shadows, composition, everything is working in this image. I think using the trees to screen out the lamps sets it all up. Great shot!

Thanks very much! This was right after an evening snowfall - which is why the snow is on the trees. The path is for cross country skiing - evidently there are people who wake up in the wee hours before the sun is up and go skiing - the nuts! They could be out taking pictures :-) - brent

G'day Brent - a more inviting snow covered road i've not seen. Love the lighting here, and the way you have been able to shield the direct lights by positioning yourself and the beast behind the tree trunks - beautifully captured, and also enjoy the overall tone. Cheers, adrian

Very beautiful and pictures like this just make me want to be there to drive up that road/path. The colors are wonderful and the lights along the path make the picture to me. If it were done with only sunshine I think it would have lost some of its beauty.
