Thank you for leading me back to this image! It really is the type of image that I love. More sugestive than discriptive. The stark lighting and deliniation of tone leave simple shapes and textures to dominate the senses. I do find this to be a bold statement. A very powerful image when matched with the right vision. Those who are bent on pristine, sharp, smooth, perfectly exposed photographs will find little to like here. It really is thier lose. To few 'artists' will open thier minds...hearts...EYES... Too busy working to master a narrow vision in persuit of recognition and validation.
And yes, I have been a big fan of Miel Pieters for a long time. For whatever reasons, I really 'get' his style of photography. Thanks again for giving me the change to say more on your wonderful image...something I've not prone to do very often...(:
