After The Ice Storm

Deerfield Hiking Trail, Blacksburg, Virginia

As soon as travel was possible, my wife and I decided to explore a favorite local walking trail that we often take our dog to and did so on this occasion. While walking the trail, the sun broke through the low clouds highlighting the ice covered trees. It was a beautiful time to get out and I know Caya (our Yorkie) enjoyed the adventure.

A nice day for a walk but you were treated to a wonderful light show and you captured it perfectly.
A superb image entrance and exit and a wonderful winter scene.
Love the sharpness image size and of course the magical light.
Would make a nice painting.
