Images of the moon, shot within moments of each other, with the Nikkor 300 F/4 AFS + TC20E-II and the Nikkor 70-200 VR + Tc14E-II. Nikon D70 on a Gitzo 1228 with Markins TB20 base plate and M10 ballhead. Kirk replacement collar on the 300, RRS replacement foot on the VR. All tripod sections collapsed. Focused with the camera's autofocus.

Saved as TIF from Nikon Capture with in camera sharpening set to normal. Assembled in Photoshop CS, USM 100/0.3/0 added, and a slight curve to increase contrast.
