10th March 2007
Crovie

Nipped up to the north coast today
and had a walk by along the beach
A cold wind was blowing
straight from the sea.

It is wild in a storm, we had a force 10 and were staying in the 2cnd house in. The waves go right round the back and down the other side. The ruin at the front was where a house was washed away in 1954. I would live there tomorrow!!!

oh my.. doesn't the surf spray blow right into the homes?

Excellent composition. Must be very scary when a storm is blowing in from the sea. GMV

All of the photos are great, particularly this first one. The perspective and the colored roofs are wonderful.

Is that the boat ramp in the foreground?

a fantastic village but I wouldn't want to be in one of those cottages in a storm!

Great shot. I wonder if those homes get swamped when the surf is up?!!!!
Johnny JAG10-Mar-2007 20:05

Not much traffic there.

A beautiful wild sea. The village looks like it's just hanging on to its shoreline.
Nicki Thurgar10-Mar-2007 19:34

Now this is a setting I don't recall seeing before. Dramatic and well taken. And I appreciate the other views below.
