burst of energy

Aiden has so much energy,
so once again I was instructed to take him on a long walk.
He wanted to show me The Bass,
the remains of an ancient 'motte and bailey' castle
where the school took him this week.
I came up with the idea that he could run up and along the motte bit,
and I would take his pic.
Then we sheltered under the trees when a shower arrived.
We just got home when Conor asled if I fancied another walk.
Two hours later we are back soaked and tired after another cloudburst,
but happy.
I'm off for a hot bath and a glass of Talisker.
