18th November 2005 icy

sub-zero temperatures this morning,
I left home before dawn,
probably waking the neigbours.
The car needs new glow plugs I think.
I got the pictures below as the sun came up,
and this one after it set,
just a few icy cirrus clouds.
Then it was dark when I got home.

Nikon D50
1/80s f/8.0 at 18.0mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

The bullet looks icy enough. Nice morning sky.

interesting intersection of angles and curves . . unfortunately it sends my spiralling in to depression . . . suddenly I hear a crackly old voice saying "bisect the angle!!"

It's amazing the colors one gets from that crystalized air. I really like the PaD with that chrome pipe! Nice composition Northie!

Beautiful changing of the sky colours down to the horizont. I wonder about the thin curved line in the sky.
