the west wind whips over the Cairngorms,
warming as it moves east of the high ground,
and creating interesting waves of cloud.
Aiden looked up at the sky as I collected him at school,
'there might be another skyburst soon', he said.
We nipped back up to the trees where I'd been earlier,
and sure enough, he was right.
