14th August 2005 golden glow

Up to the Moray coast this afternoon,
it was a bit cloudy up there,
but still fine.
The drive back was great.
Pulled in to take a picture of this field.
Then a walk up the hill to the stones when we got home.
My battery had run out by then though.
I was sitting outside having a glarse of wine just now,
Just nipped in to stick this up.

Isn't it good of farmers to have converted from the boring rectangular bales to the more photogenic round bales?! I think this trend should be encouraged and developed - interesting new buildings would only get planning permission if the ornate architectural detail would catch evening sunlight etc etc

They're going to roll right off the edge. Beautiful light. That one front bale that is positioned differently from the others makes the picture. I admire the people who do all this work, too.
