9th August 2005 the concentration

9th August already,
soon be Autumn!
Damp n drizzly outside today.
I'm managing to work out all the buttons on this camera,
A nice hot frothy coffee to help concentrate.
Manuals and me aren't a good combination...

Congratulations Andy, I know you will do justice to the Nikon ( just been in to read the data ) sounds wonderful & I see you had no problems using it for this shot.

Beginner's luck.

OK, total "Duh" on the what did you get? question. Nikon, huh? Went with Canon myself. You'll have to tell me how you like it.

TOTALLY understand the manuals dilemma. Mine just taunts me. Loving the new cam? What did you get?

Are there two clocks on the bedside table there? - absolutely NO excuse for getting out of bed on time then! Nice b&w shot of the crammed-in bedroom.
Manual? What manual? ;-)

Nikon D50 eh? Great buy. Looks to me to be equal to or better than the D70 in most respects and a bit cheaper eh?
Aren't they fun to learn? You did well with this early photo. Cheers to you.

I like in the top picture how you kept the light dark. Almost gives the feel of a gloomy day, when you just want to read a good book, or watch TV!

Great B&W. Wonderful range.

Nice mono.
Manuals UGH I usually go to the manufacturers website and download a pdf, much easier.

Nice B&W, great contrast. Autumn ??? Over here it will be hot until late October ...
Enjoy the new toy (we surely will)

Great picture considering it's not a Canon! (LOL)

tsk, please give back your Konica-Minolta club membership card and official underwear.
New camera-tastic! ;-)
