8th August 2005

I don't like buying new things,
I'd rather look after what I have.
The Green Goddess here has done 190 000 miles.
And when I get in, it is like wearing a favourite pair of comfy old shoes.
And I hate buying new shoes too,
they never seem to fit as well as the old ones.
Nevertheless, I've ordered a new camera,
it should be here tomorrow.
My minolta z3 is away for repair (under warranty)
but might be a while.
And my old camera (JenOptik) is hard to go back to.
Maybe I could get to like this new camera when it arrives...

I have to agree with James... You'd take great pictures with a pencil and some paper, Northy!

It's not the camera it's who's behind it. you'd take great pictures with a Kodak brownie.

He has washed the car for you, how nice to have such a good son. Your garden looks lovely.
