'Tis a soft day'
a favourite auntie of mine in Ireland says this.
I think it means a gentle, misty drizzle.
Well it has been a soft day,
and I haven't done very much,
just lazed about.
I love this time of year,
everything is in full bloom,
and the evenings are light.
I don't mind a bit of mist and drizzle.
