These stones have seen about 5000 winters
and I wonder how many snowfalls.
The bitter, icy wind today would have frozen me to the marrow
but luckily I had my hat

Lovely processing - despite there being a preponderance of white, this works really well in B&W!! Glad you had your hat, it looks pretty cold up in your neck of the woods at the mo....

5000 winter ? That tells us what little tiny timeframe we live on that planet. And this rock still looks pretty good for that age :-) I loved your comment below. You bet, your hat certainly helped to keep you warm enough. We can make it only to a tiny fraction of the 5000 years so we better keep us warm. V
