Anyone for Cricket?

Oxfordshire

Not much doing today, clearing out all the junk from the garage!
Went for a walk with Zoe again to find some Grasshoppers, found a Cricket instead.... (I think?)

I found one of these in the house yesterday. I got an OK shot but not one as good as this - the blighter just wouldn't stay still! Voted.

Nice macro. Great bokeh. That lens does very well.

OK, if this is a cricket, I had one too yesterday. Wasn't sure what it was either, and it was too dark already to take a picture. But it was this one's twin for sure.
Great macro btw, love how he's hanging on to the end of the grass.

Fantastic detail right down to those little spots!... I caught a cricket in a glass yesterday & didn't realise I'd chopped his back leg off till I let him go & the leg was hanging off the glass... :-O
