Anyone for Cricket?

Oxfordshire

Not much doing today, clearing out all the junk from the garage!
Went for a walk with Zoe again to find some Grasshoppers, found a Cricket instead.... (I think?)

I found one of these in the house yesterday. I got an OK shot but not one as good as this - the blighter just wouldn't stay still! Voted.

OK, if this is a cricket, I had one too yesterday. Wasn't sure what it was either, and it was too dark already to take a picture. But it was this one's twin for sure. Great macro btw, love how he's hanging on to the end of the grass. chrisse

Fantastic detail right down to those little spots!... I caught a cricket in a glass yesterday & didn't realise I'd chopped his back leg off till I let him go & the leg was hanging off the glass... :-O
