aug 6 tomatoes

I swear on whatever that I did nothing to boost the saturation or colors on this picture. Too tired from yesterday's birthday excitement and dog ailments to take or play with many pictures today. After looking at this picture, I thought I should've taken another shot of the weird tomato on top but we ate it instead.

My dad used to grow tomatoes behind the garage in suburban Detroit when I was a kid. The first ones taste so good with salt. The last ones laying on the ground in late October shout at your mortality and dare the snow to cover their sassy color up.

I'm always hunting those last ones in the fall because I know I'll never taste anything as good until next summer.

Beautiful shades of red I do agree. You are saturating me with you capture! And you had everything to do with it! hehee
