An Olympus FL-36R flash, mounted on the LX3's hot shoe. It looks a bit awkward, but actually balances pretty well, once in the shooting position. The optional Olympus FLRA-1 Reflector Adapter is also attached to the flash head. The reflector Adapter diverts a small part of the bounce light directly toward the subject, to even out shadows and provide a "catch-light" in the subject's eyes.
