i like the placing of the bird within the frame, with contrast provided by the barbed wire and the texture of the structure behind. i'd agree that the image is a little small though, and also it's got noticeable noise/ grain. a going-over with noise ninja or similar might help perhaps...

g'day Dennis - this is a great image, and works really well in thumbnail - which I find is a good measure of the 'graphic and compositional' aspects of an image. great eyes to find this pic. I'd like to see more detail at full size, but this maybe a (great) crop?
