Gaily decorated Indian trucks are seen throughout the country occupying
most of the width of the narrow roads. When approaching another vehicle,
both drivers swerve to the road's shoulders at the last minute even
though the shoulder may drop hundreds of feet to the valley below. It
all works and no one gives it a second thought other than the tourist
new to the country.
