He/She is a real beauty. The swallowtails I see here are generally yellow. I was lucky enough to have seen one black one flutter by last summer, but it didn't lite. They're extremely large specimens we have, measuring 4 or 5 inches wing span, but skittish as the dickens. This is a great catch, my hats off.
