Schiermonnikoog Zuidertoren

Schiermonnikoog, The Netherlands

The tower was originally painted red and later painted white, but little or no paint remains. The light was decommissioned in 1909. In the 1950's the tower was refitted to function as a water tower. It lost this function 1992. It is now being used as an antenna tower. The microwave dish is mounted on the watch room.
