GALLERY:: Route 66 - The Edges of Memory ::2006

On trip with Dave Wyman of Image Quest Photography: http://www.iqtours.com we got to explore behind the scenes along Historic Route 66. Our trip was centered in Barstow, California and expended from Victorville to the Ghost town of Amboy. Dave's connections got us behind the fences allowing us to concentrate on the details which added together make a complete picture of rusting nostalgia. Even in decay there was color and beauty, texture and stories.

I traveled Route 66 on my own during this trip. Your creative touch of many unusual scenes contrasted me with my blunt vision. I seem to only witness prominent beauties, yet, others overlooked. Thank you for showing me a good example in discovering incongruities in many unnoticeable matters.
