The people I traveled with knew that I was a first-timer in Asia so they arranged that we return to the hotel in a Tuk-tuk from Bangkok's weekend market. It was like a carnival ride. I think this image catches the spirit of the journey and is a apt metaphor for the trip as a whole - exciting, and different.
