Autumn Light

Fall in Yosemite has much less water than Spring with its snow melt. Yosemite Falls is dry. In this scene the rocks have created a dam which hold the leaves in this glorious light.

The leaves and fish(??) map out the direction that the swirling water sends them in. This really illustrates the perpetual motion of the river.

This is what I call a “Wow” photo. This is the first word that came to mind when I saw this. The second thing that came to my mind was why I didn’t see this. Happy Isle?
