Yes, the first one for me as well although there is something about the stem and simplicity of the second one . . . . I love how the petals to the left and right are glistening on both pictures! Excellent shots!

Amazing that the lighting seems to give the petals a silky texture. Wonderful colors. I would prefer a peep at the heart.

I think this color, in sunlight, is difficult to photograph well, but you've done it very well. I like the stamen in the top shot best. Good job!

I like 'em both, but the clencher for me is the stemen minicing the shadowed area just below it. Good ones!
