Hor/vert resolution, double sharpening

USAF target in horizontal orientation. Moire artifacts much more visible and very differently rendered. Raw Magick wins again here, reaching 80 lp/mm in horizontal and 63 lp/mm in vertical direction. Followed by C1 and NCE that peak to 56 lp/mm in both directions.
Processing speed spans from allmost zero to more than five minutes for the whole 6MP photo. Athlon 3000+ with 1 Gig RAM speed measured:
Bibble: 1.5 sec, Nikon Capture Editor: 6 sec, Adobe Camera Raw: 7 sec, C1 and DxO: 14 sec, Raw Magick: 304 sec. In Standard Mode RM is allmost instant, but the quality is lower than any other shown. Quality champion is clearly Raw Magick if you have time to spare. Best quality / speed ratio goes to NCE. If you are processing many fotos in a short period, there is no alternative to Bibble that brings together flashing speed and quality comparable to Adobe's and DxO's expensive products.
Converted pics imported into Adobe Photoshop CS, cropped, sharpened (Plain Image Sharp filter), resized to 200%, then sharpened again. 23.March 2005. Raw Shooter Essentials 2005 and DCraw from Imatest added.
