Danger! Booby-trapped with Floral Mines!

Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn, New York

Even in the Botanic Garden, you are not safe from the explosions of visual delight. Mother nature, in her infinite genius varies the design of her precious plants to stimulate our senses, both of scent and vision. These mine-like flowers are beautiful in their intricacy and with courage, I ventured to capture them, stopping down with a tiny f/9 aperture. With the Tamron 28-75 lens, there is still some nice bokeh. Photo by Michael Weinberg Photography of Scranton and Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania (PA)

Hi Photogenix. Thanks for the comment. No, the shot was handheld ...at f/9 and iso 200 on the 20d you can really get some fine details when coupled with a good piece of glass like the Tamron 28-75. Thanks, Michael
