Walking by the gift shop of the Philadelphia Art Museum, I noted this precious little chatchka in the window. I quickly took off my lens cap and snapped the photo, through the window without a flash when the manager of the store, seeing me with a camera, scolded me "no photos of gift shop items allowed." I told her I was sorry, and I argued with her that there were no visible signs warning of such a rule. But the manager continued, "sorry sir, those are the rules." And with those words, I replaced my lens cap and quitely walked away. But I did have this one photo, the one above, documenting my low light, photographic exploit of this particular gift store.
