Toronto - Nights Before Christmas

Frankly I'm not too excited about Toronto's downtown at night. It's not a Paris or London or New York. It does not strike you. But there is one period about a month when I really like it. It's starts several weeks before Christmas and last until the first day of the new year. During this time thousands of light illuminating the downtown, making it very beautiful and spectacular. During several years I was trying to capture this illumination, but it was very difficult with my old camera, since I did not want to carry tripod. It became magically easy with my new Canon 30D and I've spent several night wandering the downtown streets and shooting it's beauty. This gallery will have mostly 30D pictures, but also some of the Lumix FZ10 images made in the previous years.

My are of the USA is similar in that no city has an outstanding cityscape in and of itself, but right about that timeof year, the collective area known as Hampton Roads, really shines. Thanks for this viewof your attractive city during this poetic time of year =) voted
