Casa Loma - Toronto's Majestic Castle

What can you build for $3,500,000? Well, today a "mansion". In 1911 - a castle. Which will probably become today Toronto's most famous estate. It's called Casa Loma. If you interested in official website, you can find it here http://www.casaloma.org/Main/MainDyn.asp You can read about its history and its owner Sir Henry Mill Pellatt. See the plans and old photographs.
I've been there several times. First time without camera, second with camera but empty batteries, and finally third with everything I needed. The interiors are quite dark except several rooms and only possible vantage points are against the windows full of bright light, so my choice of HDR was quite natural. But I could not use tripod, only monopod, since it was quite busy there and navigating with tripod was a problem. So I had no choice. I've decided to shoot HDR from monopod with ISO 1600. Everyone who knows anything about HDR will know rule number one. Since HDR processing adds noise it should be shot at lowest ISO possible. But at ISO 1600? If I was not shooting with Canon 7D, I would probably thought twice, but I already knew of what 7D is capable of at high ISO. So I took the risk. Result was quite good IMO.
