This helix sculpture, named Twist 1.5 and made of British Columbia fir, is a collective work by
Alex Wyse of Ontario and Ken Guild of Nova Scotia. It was described by the artists as a
"Wooden, spiral, wind-vane thing" and was created in its location on Major's Hill Park
in 1978 while the public watched.
