Whooping Cranes In Flight 20070208

Fairly rare and inaccessible birds

Whooping Crane (Grus americana), standing nearly 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall,
are North America's tallest bird and have a wingspan of 7.5 feet (2.3 meters).

Photographed in the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge north of Fulton, Texas USA.
