These birds always travel in flocks, and have to be seen to really be appreciated. My shots don't do them justice; the green apple head is unreal.

We did well with the colorful Tangara Tanagers, with the following seen from this genus:

Masked Tanager
Turquoise Tanager
Opal-rumped Tanager
Paradise Tanager
Spotted Tanager
Speckled Tanager
Yellow-bellied Tanager
Bay-headed Tanager (unbelievable looking as well)
