This bird gave me a hard-time, as it was one of the only birds that wasn't in the field guide that I was using. Luckily I was able to figure it out when I got back home. It will be very nice when the Brazilian field guide that is in the works is available! I was able to use the Collings Guide to Birds of Southern South America on this trip, with few problems, though I did have to let a couple of flycatchers go!
