The Carl Vinson is the 3rd of the US Navy's Nimitz Class supercarriers, and was commissioned in 1982. She has been involved in most of the conflicts the US has been in since then, with a lot of notable action. Notably, Osama Bin Laden's body was disposed of off of her deck after the SEAL's took care of him back in 2011.
