The Midway entered service just after World War II, and served an amazing 47 years, seeing a lot of action including being the flagship during Operation Desert Storm/Shield. She was decommissioned in 1992 and now serves as a floating museum in San Diego Bay. She has an amazing variety of US Naval aircraft on her deck!
