Irene Dairy Farm, Pretoria

it's a common practise at dairy farms to seperate newborn
calves from their mothers shortly after birth. these calves are
then handfed and raised, and this allows the lactating cows
to produce optimum milk - which is the main purpose of a
dairy farm in the first place.
