Ellen Zabriskie gravestone

Ridgewood, NJ

dating back to April 1830, Ellen passed away at the young age of 25 years.
The very poignant inscription reads:
"Farewell my loving husban dear
Now we must part in love and fear
I hope the lord will give you grace
To meet us in yond hevenly place
Farewell my loving children dear
I leave you in my parents fear
I hope the lord will you receive
My little ones that I must leave"
